Stacy Meko

Stacy holds a bachelor’s degree in French from Georgetown University. With her husband Mike, she relocated to the South County in 1986 where they raised their three children. Stacy worked as a tasting room manager and public relations director before starting her own small business assisting wineries and other organizations with website development, marketing and graphic design. She also taught French for the Bright Futures after school program for 8 years.


Stacy is passionate about advocating for and empowering women and young people to reach their full potential. She has devoted thousands of volunteer hours supporting students in the Lucia Mar School District and served on numerous District committees. She volunteers as an alumni admissions interviewer for Georgetown University and mentors AVID students. Additionally, Stacy is a member of the Core Scholarship Committee at the Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County and serves on the Board of Directors for the South County Youth Coalition.
